Our Qualifications exceed the National and State requirements to be a Certified Home Inspector.
About 6 years ago, the state of Arizona, began to license Home Inspectors. Before that which wasn't that long ago, all one had to do wa walk up to a potential home buyer, shake hands and introduce themselves as a Home Inspector. Now the state requires one to attend and pass a 80 hour class. After the classroom part is completed one has to go out with a Certified Inspector in the field for 30 inspections. During these inspections which are actual Home Inspections, the student must fill out a separate report, and have it critiqued by the Certified Inspector. The Certified Inspector(s) must complete a form that goes to the Board of Technical Registration either recommending or not recommending the applicant for Certification. The applicant must also complete and pass a National Examination for Home Inspectors. The last and final thing is a set of finger prints has to be obtained and the State runs a background check on each and every applicant.
